The breeze that blew from Madagascar, the island of wonders, took me northeast. The next months will be completely “Indian”. As soon as I went aboard the raft, I "got into" the Indian Ocean, and this Tiki adventure leads me to India, a country that offers new wonders.
As on a chessboard I am "bouncing" from island to island. No one knows which is nicer. First I enter the archipelago made of 155 small islands. I mainly keep my eye on Seychelles, I stop only to supply. Then I enjoy the beauty of the Maldives. It's hard to resist temptation to stop. The only question is how long I would stay in this paradise on earth. Most likely, all of my life. So I decide to bow my head and continue my way. Visiting only a few islands would take too much time; the challenge would be "only" to choose where to drop by because there are 1,192 of them. I’m telling you, there is no return if you get "stuck" here. I am passing on raft a few hundred kilometers and come to the coast of India. Practically, I am passing along the entire western coast of that state. At the end of the sea route I enter the Gulf of Kutch. From there, I continue by train. It is certainly a strange experience. Slowly, as on raft, we arrive at the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is a huge and chaotic city. There are more than three million inhabitants and it seems to me that all of them are on the streets. Somehow, I come to the historic center which is called the Pink City.
